The Glendale Town Center on Indy’s north side may soon be torn down, with hundreds of new apartments and townhomes replacing it.
The Landmark Glendale 12 movie theater has been a place people, families and friends have enjoyed for more than 25 years. The theater first opened as Kerasotes ShowPlace 12 Glendale, then changed to AMC ShowPlace 12 for several months in 2010 before becoming Landmark Glendale 12.
The project still must go through various city committees and approvals over the next few months. The theatre could close by March 2026 and demolition staring in May.
