Theater

This early theater operated in an old wooden storefront built sometime before 1893, and which was a saloon in 1904.

The theater is shown on the August 1909 map. If it stayed open into 1914-15, then it was likely the Movie Theatre listed in the AMPD, although that may have been elsewhere.

By 1917 the building was a billiard hall and lunch room. It was demolished long ago. Later maps from 1927 and 1936 are not available online. The rather plain bar on that corner today may be from around 1950.
