The Jönköpings Biografteatrar (or the Jönköping Cinema Theatre in English) opened its doors on 6th November 1919 as a single-screener. It was closed as a single-screener on 20th April 1982 when it received both renovation and two more screens, and the theater reopened with three screens on 13th August 1982. Its closing date remains unknown at this time.
