One of the most flopped theaters in Maine is the First Picture Show, opening on January 18, 1980 with Richard Benjamin in “Scavenger Hunt”. It was renamed the Topsham Cinema the following year, dropped its mainstream fare for X-rated films, and closed on June 18, 1981.
