The Lyric Airdome Theater was at 12 South Mulberry Street, next to the Delaware Hotel. It was operated by the Williston family, managers of the hard-top Lyric Theater at 204 South Walnut Street, and debuted with “His Last Call” and “Her Crowning Glory” on May 30, 1914.

The Lyric Airdrome was an open-air movie-garden venue featuring bench seats and motion pictures at the ten-cent price point. It operated seasonally as weather permitted, open in 1914 from May 30 until September 22, and in 1915 from May 27 until September 18.

There’s no reference to the Lyric Airdome in 1915. In 1917 it was being used as a parking lot.
