Contrescarpe

A small cinema located in the south of the Latin Quarter close to the Pantheon. The Studio Contrescarpe was opened as a cinema in 1973 and closed in 1987. It became a performance hall named Theatre du Triomphe which was followed by Comedie Contrescarpe presenting stand-up comedy. In 2015 it became Theatre de La Contrescarpe. In 2024 it was renamed Le Constrescarpe.
