Cine-Fi SEIYU Kotesashi Pit

The Cine-Fi SEIYU Kotesashi Pit opened its gates at the Seiyu Kotesashi store in Tokorozawa City on December 29, 1981. Shochiku had been operating a directly-managed drive-in theater at LaLaport in Funabashi City since August of that year, but the Seiyu Kotesashi store was the first to operate under the franchise system.

Housing a total of 186 cars, it features installations of a 59x26ft screen. There are no speakers due to the fact that it used AM radio as its sound. Its content features a mix of Shochiku films and foreign films.

Admission is 1,500 yen per car, or 3,000 yen for passengers, regardless of the number of people, which is nearly $10 per car or $19 per passenger in USD. It was closed around 2000.
