The 403 Drive-In opened as early as 1971. It originally screened normal movies at launch, but later leaned heavily towards adult movies by the middle of the decade.
It was still open in the mid-1980’s, and at the time, it was operated by Multi-Cinema Limited of Charlotte. The entire theater was already demolished by late-1990’s with the exception of the concession stand, which remained standing until the 2010’s.
