Located in Lutwyche, a suburb in the north of Brisbane. This was an early cinema with opened in March 1915 as the Imperial Picture Pavilion. It was modernised in an Art Deco style by 1940. It was operated by Savoy Theatres Pty. Ltd. It was equipped with an electronic organ.
The Imperial Theatre was closed in the early-1980’s. It has since been demolished and a Good Life Health Club now stands on the site.
