Peninsula’s first drive-in theater opens near the Fairgrounds tonight. Known as the Park Drive-In Theater, the place is a part of Monterey Theaters Co. and is located at Fairgrounds and Encina Aves., at West side of fairgrounds. Two shows are scheduled every night- rain or shine, according to Mark Keller, theaters executive.
