Located on Flatbush Avenue between State Street and Schemerhorn Street. The Casino Theatre was opened on September 4, 1909 with “Wine, Women, and Song”. It operated as a burlesque theatre. Its stage measured 32 feet deep and 75 feet wide. By 1914 it was listed as a movie theatre in the American Motion Picture Directory 1914-1915 edition. By 1926 it had reverted back to Burlesque shows. It was owned by the Excelsior Amusement Company.
On March 27, 1929 it was announced that it would soon be demolished and an office building would be built on the site. That survived until the summer of 2020 when the entire block was demolished to build an office tower with retail at ground level.
