Cine LT3

Since childhood Carlos Costa had dreamed of operating a theater. In 2022, at a cost of about $ 18,000 (100,000 reales), he used his savings to renovate a former parking garage owned by his company. The red cushioned seats are over 50 years old obtained from a former theater.

Cine LT3 is his own personal operation: cleaning, selling tickets, projection, pop corn. Patrons attending can bring their own wine bottle.

There are three shows a day, 2,4 and 8 PM Tuesdays through Sundays. Films are national or alternative with a different one at each showing.

The theater is only one of 423 screening rooms in Brazil. 90% of the 3,542 theaters in the country are in malls.
