Located in the southwest Berlin district of Kreuzberg. The Mariannen Lichtspiele was opened with 162-seats in 1912. In 1919 it was enlarged to 600-seats in orchestra and balcony levels. In 1931 it was rebuilt to the plans of architect Fritz Wilms. (it is not certain if those plans were fulfilled as there are no more details regarding the Urania Theater).
What is known is that it has been demolished and a block of modern apartments has been built on the site.
