Located in Southwold, to the south of Lowestoft, Suffolk. The Cinema was opened in 1921 with 550-seats (many would be seated on long wooden benches in front of the screen. It was operated by George Crick and by 1934 it had been equipped with a Western Electric (WE) sound system. The seating capacity had been reduced to 400-seats by the removal of the long benches and were replaced by the installation of tip-up seats.

By 1958 The Cinema was managed by J.W.M. Blythe and the proscenium was 25ft wide and the screen 17ft wide. By 1963 it had been renamed Ritz Cinema and equipped with CinemaScope with a 36ft wide proscenium and a screen 33ft x 14ft 3". It was operated by S. Burgess of the Playhouse Saxmundham. By 1966 it had been equipped with a RCA sound system. It was still open in 1969 but had closed by 1980 and had been demolished.
