The Eagle Theatre opened in downtown Westville in 1913. Prior to it, the town had the Peoples Garden Theatre - a live house. The Eagle Theatre appears to have changed to the State Theatre in the sound era. It was operated by the same folks who ran the Georgetown Theatre in nearby Westville. It was open into the TV era in the 1960’s and went out of business. The building has since been razed.
