Bijou Theatre

The Armory was built in 1908, and was a one story brick building with a recessed central facade, and a two story stage tower at the rear. It was also used as an opera house, and had a bowling alley in the basement. The Electric Theatre opened in the Armory building on May 23, 1908. It became the Grand Theatre on July 16, 1909 and the Bijou on October 10, 1911. It closed shortly afterward. The armory was still shown on the 1921 map, with the opera house functional. It was demolished at some later date, and the site today is a parking lot.
