Cine I & II opened as a two-screen movie theater in the early-1970’s by the Texas Theater Corporation, which also owned the King Dive-I and Rancho Drive-Ins in Kingsville around the same time.

According to records, the theater switched ownership multiple times. It was open by 1997 under Cinemark but had closed circa 2004. The building was repurposed as a game room and church before becoming a gym present-day. Film poster displays still remain outside of the building.
