The Dreamland Theatre was Indiana’s first nickelodeon that was launched by the Please-U Amusement Company on April 17, 1907. Unfortunately, its grand opening was short because of an accident to the machinery at the electric plant.
This was short-lived and closed in late-March 1909 after its original manager, simply identified as DeLancy, sold the building and moved to Ohio. It was demolished a few days after closing.
