Opened in 1912 as Tally’s Theatre, this cinema became the Palace Theatre in 1912, operating as such through 1924. It became the Rose Theatre on November 8, 1925 with Monte Blue in “The Limited Mail”. It was equipped with a theatre organ. It was closed in 1931 or so. The theatre was demolished.

The Film Center SBIFF (formerly Fiesta Five) which has its own page on Cinema Treasures, was built on the site of the Rose Theatre.

The Talley’s theatre opens on May 30th, 1910, renamed Palace on August 31st, 1912 and renamed Rose on November 8th, 1924 and closed in 1931. Grand opening ads posted.
