How could the oldest cinema in the world have opened in Canada in 1907 when there were already cinema chains operating in the US and France?

Either the date or the claim is wrong.

From Wiki', “Thomas Lincoln Tally (1861 —– November 24, 1945) on or near April 16, 1902 opened his Electric Theater in Los Angeles.” Maybe the Ouimetoscope is the first in Canada?

Good luck on the theater.
