This theater has been renovated into a recliners reserving seat theater according to AMC THEATRES. People who are 21 years old like myself go to the bar must show their ID Card before entering the bar. I thought Arclight was better but apparently arclight is not having a better deal. I say AMC got the best La Jolla 12 in La Jolla,CA especially they can carry their alcohlic beverage inside the theater.

Regal had to closed their Movies at the market fair Multiplex 10 . I thought they gonna fix it up but they didn’t renew their lease. Looks like AMC will reopen the Movies at the market fair 10 over after the renovation done by 2015.
No wounder this theater must been a fromer movie house for 94 years and was converted to 4 Multiplex because of the original stage was making away for a retail store back in july 1991
Due to the fact this old theater was lease to ipic theater in 2013 but they didn’t mention that the Boyd theater is gonna convert into a ipic theater or other movie theater chain. For example Loews American theater in the Bronx was convert into a 7 multiplex screen theater then bow tie cinemas brought the building in 6 years and they closed the theater down .What if AMC Entertainment buy this abandoned theater to play movie and installing two digital 4k projection on each booth at the sane time. I wish the Boyd theater to reopen so that they could play movie every year instead of destorying it .
I never thought that AMC just closed their Loews Norridge 10. If Classic Cinemas will bring this theater back to life that will be awesome. AMC Kerasotes 14 is a few miles east in Cicero.
I heard that the AMC is planning to build another theater by the major deegan Expressway and Regal Cinema is also open their theater next to the Hunts point warehouse . AMC might open part of the whitestone cinema property but the only thing is the American Theaters should be operate even AMC or Regal instead of closing the theater located in Parkchester. In my opinion the Bronx need seven more new Megaplex movie theaters to have the people go to the movies more often but good thing AMC keeping their Bay Plaza Multiplex 13 open and the AMC fixed their Bay Plaza Multiplex 13 in good shapes and I still go to the AMC Bay Plaza 13 to see a good movie in theatres .
Lincoln Square 13 has a 70mm film IMAX projector,Empire 25 has a 70mm film IMAX projectors, 34th Street 14 has a 70mm film IMAX projectors and finally kips bay 15 has a 70mm film IMAX projectors to play the interstellar movie on the big screen in Downtown Manhattan however the AMC movie chain installed a Sony 4k projector to start the movie on the big screen. Back in the 1980’s and 1990’s AMC used the 35mm film projector to played the movie on the big screen and now these day they using computer projectors to play movies.There was a movie theater in parkchester that used the 35mm film projectors to play 7 movies on every 7 screens since they closed the Loews American theaters in the Bronx and got replace by a department store the AMC will have to reopen the fromer movie theater in parkchester by 2016 or 2017
AMC already installed Sony 4k projector In Bay Plaza 13 in 2011 and it doesn’t make no cent to show the interstellar in 35mm and interstellar is gonna show on the big screen with a computer flash drive that is connecting through the Sony 4k digital projectors the only theater in downtown Manhattan are gonna to use the IMAX 70mm is the Lincoln Square 13 located on Broadway and W 66th Street New York, NY
How many movie they showed the 2002 movie films in this theater 12plex

They should change the loews sign to AMC for this theater loews Cineplex has been gone since AMC took over the loews theaters chain

AMC just converted the fromer UA Marina Marketplace 6. AMC done fixed up the sixplex Multiplex .

I saw first Sunday and get smart in 35mm films prints in 2008 in that Granite Run 8 theaters
They should renovate this theater to kept the place open to see movie but no they have to closed the super cinema davenport theater.
