Remnants of the Golf Range are now gone, it is a housing development.

Apparently things have changed Address wise. Highway 80 does not appear to exist anymore and neither Google nor Historic Aerials like that address. Try 2521 TX-254 Loop Strawn, Texas, this maps right to the same spot.

Visible in the 1953 and 1957 Historic Aerials at it’s original location at 2900 Post Oak. Visible in the 1962 and 1964 Historic Aerials at the new N. Post Oak site as a single screen. 1966 and 1973 Historic Aerials has it as a twin. Gone by 1981.

Ok, so there isn’t an aerial that shows anything located at the above 975 address. If you do a Google Street View, however, the marquee in question IS in fact located in front of that liquor store. So either the drive in was very short lived and they removed all trace of it, or the marquee was relocated from the 6021 Texas 75 address.

1956 Historic Aerial shows the Drive in. 1995 Historic Aerial shows the mall mentioned above. 2004 Historic Aerial shows everything has been torn down. Current Aerial shows absolutely nothing on the site.

Looks like the address for this one would be 1432 S Barnes St, Pampa, TX 79065. South Barnes takes over from South Cuyler Street about a mile north of this former DI. A 1962 Historic Aerial shows a single screen on this site, the 1996 Historic Aerial shows what looks like at least 3 screens had been there. The marquee is still standing at the southern end of the property

The Google Street Camera car drove through this Drive-In in June of 2017. No 3rd screen.

Exact Address would be 6001 E Veterans Memorial Blvd, Killeen, TX.

If you do Google Maps street view and go down Carolyn street just to the west of the drive in, it appears the base metal from the screen tower is still there as of March 2016, but the screen is gone.

Address for this one is roughly 3229 S 15th St, Corsicana, TX 75110. Visible in the 1964 Historic Aerial, now occupied by Watkins Construction Co.

If you copy and paste the address to Google or Historic Aerials, make sure you edit the word Country by getting rid of the r. It’s County road, not country :)

Address for this one appears to be 3143 W Expressway 83, McAllen, TX. The site appears to be currently vacant. It is visible in the 1995 Historic Aerial at this location, gone in 2002.

Go to Google Street view. The marquee is still there, and looks pretty darn good!

Google Street View from September 2017 still has the Marquee up, cage and all.

If I’m looking at the succession of aerials right, and the current Google maps overhead, the footers for the screen are still there.

The above description is inaccurate. It says that this DI closed in early 1970, yet the marquee picture has Love at First Bite which came out in 1979 and Jennifer which was from 1978. Aerial views from 1978 look like the drive in is functional.

As of today, there are a lot of things built on this property, but the current Google aerial shows about 5 rows of trees on the back left side which show where the ramps were, for how much longer, who knows?

Call me crazy but I’m not coming up with anything at the above address on Google or Historic Aerials…Old Jefferson Road does not appear to exist in Macon, GA

According to a March 2017 Google Street View the building is still standing and is for lease if I am seeing the blurry sign correctly.

Not that it really matters a whole lot but the above address is for the adjacent property to where the drive in was. 527 Sand Bar Ferry Rd, Augusta, GA 30901 is actually where the theater was, and I cannot see any trace of anything left either aerial wise or Street View, and the Google car went down the street that was behind the screen when it was standing.

Google Street View from December 2015 shows that the screen is still standing, and is in REALLY bad shape.

October 2016 Google Street View shows the drive-in pretty much still intact. The marquee sign is long gone though. There is a public auction sign near one of the exits that has the words “seized property” on it, but I cannot read any of the smaller words.

Directly across the street from what is now West Side Elementary School according to Google Maps. Houses are now on the site.
