The Kinepolis Nancy is a modern multiplex that shows mainstream movies in downtown Nancy. Costing sixteen million euros, the cinema opened September 23, 2005 as the 7th Kinepolis cinema in France and the 21st in Europe. The cinema opened with a total of 2,580 seats in its ten auditoriums. All auditoriums have Dolby Digital sound and are THX certified.
Auditorium 1 is the largest, with 500 seats and a huge screen that measures 66 feet wide for scope films. The next largest auditoriums, 3, 9, and 10, have 341 seats and huge screens that are 55 feet wide for scope films. Auditoriums 5 thru 9 each sit 210 and have very large screens that measure 45 feet wide for scope films. Auditoriums 2 and 4 sit 142 each and have screens that are 36 feet wide for scope films.
