The Carolina Union Campus Cinema is located in the Carolina Union Student Center on the University of North Carolina Campus in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The theatre itself is very small since it showcases a variety of films and exclusive features that were meant not only for the faculty and students of the UNC-CH system, but to the general public as well. The theatre operates on a semester basis, and usually shows features during the weekends only.
The admission policy of this theatre: Films are funded by student fees and they are free to students and facility with a valid UNC student card. One guest is permitted per UNC student one card. All others who are not affliated with the university or invited guests, the admission is regular admission and can be purchased through the Carolina Union box office located in the Student Union on the University of North Carolina campus.

I’m not sure this kind of operation really belongs in CinemaTreasures. How do others feel?
It is not without some precedent here on CT – see, for example, the Hoff Cinema: /theaters/30102/ I think a case can be made for the inclusion of an operation like this if the films are open to the public and are regularly shown and advertised as such, and the environment is a dedicated theater, not just a lecture hall. Think something like this is comparable to a military base cinema and there are some of those on CT.
I don’t think though that just any college or university auditorium should be included. I saw probably hundreds of films at various sites at Michigan State University when I was a student there, and I would not think of adding of them to CT.
I agree with you guys. Should I add the Theatre at Augusta State here.They showed hundreds of movies when I went there.No,I think not.
