Previous Names: Sequoia Theatre
Opened as the Sequoia Theatre on October 21, 1948 with Fred Astaire in “Blue Skies” & Donald O'Connor in “Feudin', Fussin' and A-Fightin'”. It wes refurbished and became the Center Theatre on November 21, 1956, re-opening with “Bing Croby in "High Society” & Marilyn Monroe in “Bus Stop”. It was closed in 1957. The site is now a parking lot for a shopping plaza.
