The Palace Theatre was opened in 1909, operated by Robert Hansen. It was a shop conversion, which could have had an extension built at the rear to accommodate the auditorium. In 1912 it was operated by James Laughlin, and it was closed later that year.
In 2015 it is in use as a church.
