The Galaxie Theatre & Book Store was opened by 1977 when it was listed in the Bob Damron Address Book (a gay guide book) screening gay male adult movies. Listed in the 1985-86 Theatre Trade Directory with Marty Baker as the owner/operator.
As of 18th November 2015, it is a Romantix adult novelty store.
