The 1950 Film Daily Year Book included two theatres for Pineville. One of them was the 400-seat Reda Theatre on South Street.
The January 10, 1953 issue of Showmen’s Trade Review reported that C. G. Roaden and Charles Miller had purchased the “Theda” in Pineville from Don Reda and reopened it as the Roaden Theatre.
