This was the third venue in Port Huron to bear the Bijou name. Prior locations were on Huron Avenue and Water Street. It was not listed in 1914 and had closed by 1926. By 1931 it had reopened as the Grand Riviera Theatre. It had been renamed Riviera Theatre by 1950 and was still open in 1957.
After closure it became the Love Outreach Church.
I have uploaded a 1936 photo from when it was operational and one from December 2021 of the original brickwork after the tiles on the Art Deco style facade had been removed.
