The Star Theatre opened in 1907 and was located on Amusement Row in Downtown Erie, which was an area of theatres in the 1100 block of State Street which included the Princess Theatre, Grand Theatre and the Star Theatre. The theatre was doing very well up until the 1930’s when the theatre closed in 1934. The space is now used as a Modern Adult store.
