The little northeastern Illinois town of Richmond did had a theatre in its history, although films were also shown at the town’s Memorial Hall as well.
The Photodrome Theatre was opened in 1926. In 1933 it was equipped with sound and was renamed Richmond Theatre. It was closed in 1949.
