GV Marina

Opened in September 1996 as part of the Marina Leisureplex, an extension of Marina Square comprising of a cinema, video games arcade, billiard hall and a bowling alley, GV Marina comprised of six screening halls, of which two were THX certified back then. It was Golden Village’s first location in Downtown Singapore, after opening its first five locations in the suburbs.

In September 2014, the cinema was closed as they were moving to neighbouring Suntec City, which opened the following month. The premises, together with the entire Marina Leisureplex, was then left vacant until 2016, when a private school, PSB Academy took over the entire Marina Leisureplex as its City Campus, which then converted all of the halls into lecture theatres.
