If one had the chance they should have gotten in somehow and saved some parts of that Theatre,I know i did it when they came in to wreck my favorite two theatres. Got quite a bit out of the booth and managers office.It wasn’t all going in the trash if i could help it.
You would think that a theatre chain would do something to solve that problem.You have to sell snacks.All three of ABC THEATRES here in Augusta had plenty of room at the concession.GCC was tight at both locations I worked in Athens and Augusta,but they were tucked into a MALL.
Now Showing at GCC’s PLAZA I and II “IF EVER I SEE YOU AGAIN” rated PG. in CINEMA II you have “THE GREEK TYCOON” rated R which is also playing at GCC’s RALEIGH SPRINGS IN Memphis.

Surprized they didn’t split theatre 3 and make a quad,like they did at my theatres COLUMBIA 1 and 2 Theatres.
Okay, here are a few facts on the SALEM DRIVE-In. In Ohio. It parked 406 cars and was owned in 1956 by Paul Vogue.
Your best bet is to venture into old downtown theatres that are longed closed up that is where i found the two books i had.
Love to have a picture of the marquee with Clint playing there.
It was popular with locals with low admission prices even for the 70’s.

So the old Five plex outside is a Carmike Cinema.And a dollar theatre.I always thought General Cinema would around.Glad i check out in 83.

What a horrible movie"MONSIGNOR" we played it first run,but wasn’t charging $1.50 a seat like GlenArt was doing.

Sad comment on a great East Tenn city. I am so glad we saved the IMPERIAL, MODJESKA and Miller theatres in downtown Augusta,Ga.
