I don’t know exactly where I am on the South Shore. On Taschereau Boulevard, everything is mixed together: a succession of cloned restaurants, separated by huge parking lots. But here I am in front of the cinema.
The facade, marked by time, also displays its share of burnt-out light bulbs and graffiti under the awning. However, inside, surprise: it is not the gloomy decor I expected. Better still, a line stretches out in front of the canteen. A handful of moviegoers, faithful to their post, ready to butter their fingers. Life, finally.”
To reopen as a Cine-Starz location in the Summer. When Guzzo closed the location, all the seats, projection Equipment, screens etc. were removed.
