1969 photo credit Pauline Cournyer. Description credit Cody Rosson: “The old drive-in theater that used to be in Mio, The Galaxy Drive-In. This also was the beginning of the flea market that currently occupies the same spot today. The large screen was torn down in a storm sometime in the late 1980’s, around 1988-90 I was told. This photograph is from 1969 and shows Boyd Senter showing off some of his polished rock jewelry for sale. He had a rock shop in Mio and was a very talented man, inventor and musician. He used to preform with Glen Miller. His daughter Carole is with him.”
