Galaxy Drive-In

Opened April 23, 1954 as the Dai-Roy Drive-In with a capacity for 300 cars, and operated by Roy Whitney. Last listed as the Dai-Roy in 1971, when owner Gordon Whitney retired. It remained dormant until reopening as the 400-car capacity Galaxy Drive-In in 1973, under the ownership of Ron Koch. It was sold to American Entertainment Company a year later, and began showing adult films. The theater closed in 1991 and became the site of a flea market.

Even the ramps are now gone, there is no trace of the drive-in remaining.
