Architects: Henry A. Raapke
Built on the site of the IOOF Opera House, built in 1900 and destroyed by fire in early-1926. The Onawa Theatre opened on November 20, 1926, with seating listed at 349. It was remodelled in 1946 to the plans of architect Henry A. Raapke. The theatre closed sometime in the early-1950’s.
