Once operated by O'Brien’s Ottawa Valley Amusements.

Renamed the O'Brien Theatre in 1929, and was last renovated in 2000.

This is nearly an excat copy of the O' Brien in Renfrew.

I was a manager & projectionist at this theatre for over 6 years (as was my husband for a few years), our daughter works concession there, and although I prefer to be on the other side of the projection room now, I help run an on-screen advertising program that plays before and between shows and features local businesses. I don’t think I’ll ever completely let go of my involvement there. I love it.

Once theatre is in your blood, it’s there forever!
