The Parkdale Theatre opened on April 5, 1920. It was operated by the Allen’s Theaters Ltd. chain and seating was all on one level.

It closed in 1970 as part of the Famous Players circuit.

This is the current tenant of this former cinema. The green canopied entrance is the original main entrance. No trace of the cinema survives except for the actual brick structure.
