- Aug 20, 2014 — Russellville Roxy opens its doors again
Built in 1948, the Roxy Theatre was opened on September 15 1949 with “My Dear Secretary” starring Lorraine Day & Kirk Douglas. There have been recent efforts to raise funds for renovation. At present the theatre is used for community events, on a sporadic basis and for live performances.

The Roxy Theatre is open but their website says it is a venue for live events. No mention of showing movies. Their website
