February 6, 1992 marked a welcome addition to Newark’s Peoples Plaza as a high-tech 10-screen Regal was opened. On December 11, 1992 another 3-screens had been added. On April 30 1999 another 4-screens were added. It has since become a popular attraction for local moviegoers, rivaling two other theaters in northern Delaware - Regal Brandywine Town Center 16 and Cinemark Movies 10, both located in Wilmington It now offers 17 screens.

February 6th, 1992 grand opening ad in photo section. It opened with 10 screens and expanded to 13 screen before the year was out. Grand opening ad in the photo section.
Please rename Regal Peoples Plaza and it expanded to 13 screens on December 11, 1992 and 17 screens on April 30, 1999 and total seats 1,129
