Actual closing date is September 7, 1987. Screen 1 closed with “Adventures In Babysitting” and “Outrageous Fortune”, Screen 2 closed with “Maid to Order” and “Three For The Road”, and Screen 3 closed with “The Lost Boys” and “Who’s That Girl”. It was demolished on November 8, 1988.
The 40th Avenue Drive-In opened its gates as a single-screener on August 18, 1965 with Kirk Douglas in “For Love Or Money”, and later expanded to three screens on May 19, 1976.
This opened on June 2nd, 1966 and expanded with 3 screens on May 19th, 1976 and closed in 1987. Grand opening ad uploaded.
