This art house cinema has 4 screens and is located rue Pont-de-Comines near the rue Faidherbe not far from Lille International Railway Station. It opened in the late-1930’s as the Lilac, around the same time the Cineac opened. Since 1994 the Metropole has been a member of the Europa Cinemas Group of art house cinemas. It is currently operated by UGC France.
