  • This drive-in opened on June 23rd, 1972 with one screen with the 2nd screen added to show movies in English in 1979. It closed down in 1988.

One screen remains standing. Someone on Facebook wants to re-open. Hope it works out, Montreal only has one drive-in left.

There is no way it could reopen, the property has been redeveloped but the screen still seems to be standing.

50sSnipes, have you checked Le Devoir or La Presse at Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec? (Free) Many cinemas only placed ads only in the French-language newspapers and some cinema only placed ads in the Engligh-language newspapers.
