The Fenelon Theatre was built in 1948. After movies ceased being shown, the theatre was used for concerts. The building was demolished in 2016 but the theatres vertical sign was saved.

The father-and-son team of Abe and Lou Consky are the original owners of the Fenelon, who also operated theaters in Minden and Haliburton. It was still open in 1987.
