Galaxy Grandscape opened August 27 2020, with 16 screens and the first Sony Digital Cinema auditorium in Texas. Included are two large format DFX screens, dual 4k laser digital projection, and Dolby Atmos sound systems.
This is Galaxy Theatres sixteenth location covering Arizona, California, Nevada, Texas, and Washington. By 2025 it was operating with 15-screens.
The Grandscape, about 30 miles from Dallas, is a shopping, dining, entertainment, and lodging destination. It was developed by Berkshire Hathaway and designed by Merriman Anderson Architects and HTH Architects.
