The Lyons Theatre opened by 1929. Fox Midwest Theatres were operating the Lyons Theatre by 1934. By 1941 it was named Fox Lyons Theatre. By 1950 it had reverted back to its Lyons Theatre name and was still open in 1955. It had closed by 1956.

This theater has suffered several terrible remodels. It had an ugly 1960s storefront, but has now been incorporated into a bank.
