Lyric Theatre

This theater appears on the 1912 Sanborn. It was located in a tin-clad wooden storefront, which had been constructed between 1893 and 1899. The 1905 map shows a meat market there.

This theater was still open in 1914-15, when it was listed in the AMPD. It seems to have closed before 1926. No later maps are available, but this building was demolished at some point. The current structure is a laundromat of indeterminate date.
