The John Miller Twin Cinema originally opened on March 29, 1974 with Al Pacino in “Serpico” & John Wayne in “The Cowboys”. It was renamed the Gene Boggs Twin Cinemas on August 6, 1981, and later became known as the Rand Twin on August 14, 1981 after being acquired by Rand Theatres. The cinema ceased operations and listed its final screenings on April 28, 1987.
