This theater appears on the 1913 Sanborn. It was located in a very typical one story brick storefront, which had been constructed between 1899 and 1905, when it was a flour and feed store.
At this point, Cherokee was near its peak of almost 1,500 people, and the growing town boasted a three story hotel and a three story opera house in a fairly dense little downtown. The theater is not listed in the 1914-15 AMPD, either an omission or an indication it had closed. The 1920 population was just over 1,000.
Cherokee has continued to shrink, and very few structures still stand. This building appears to be in fairly poor shape, and is used as the city fire station.
